If you come to Malta because of holiday, I think you should look around for shopping. It may not be cheaper than Europe in price, but it might be the chance to find some brands or products not found in small countries.
There is still culture in Malta to shop from stores on the street. You will usually find a number of shops lined up side by side on Republic Street in Valletta. From Tommy Hilfiger to The Body Shop, they’re all on this street. Like the very small state of Times Square. Apart from that, there are shopping malls in Malta, of course.
The Point in Sliema, the largest shopping mall. This shopping center, which is so small as ours, is the biggest in Malta. You will find a lot of shops in cosmetics electronics. My favorite is e on the bottom floor, called “TKS The Kitchen Store“, where a variety of different kitchen utensils are sold. There are a total of 4 quadrants and there is a covered car park, but just like everywhere else, parking is not free here, so be aware.
The Point, you can also hear the name Tigne Point from time to time as it is in the name of Sliema’s Tigne Point.
The area immediately below the shopping center is the name Piazza Tigne (Tigne square) and there are many beautiful restaurants around the square. (My favorite Fratelli La Bufala) Calvin Klein was once again a magazine in the same square, but it closed later.
When you lift your head and look up, you will see houses with the most beautiful views of the country. The prices of these houses vary between 250 and 3 million euros. Of course, those with 250b. Houses is in floor and without scenery.
When you get out of the main gate of The Point and turn to the right, you will walk on the bridge where you can see the photo below to the center of Sliema. When you have this bridge, do not go straight down, on the right side you will enjoy the view of Manoel Island and the unbelievable beauty of Velletta on the left. 🙂
